Default Some Minor Interface Tweaks Today

Looks like they tweaked up the interface a tad since the last big redesign ... nothing major. Run you client to see the changes.

It's nice that they got rid of the little "curls" that were on the top of each of the boxes. That always bothered me just a little...

You can still hit 'Ctrl + Shift + H' to hide the interface. That will let you stare at the sexy camp fire all day long!

Oh man, that's so great. Who needs a Beta Weekend when you have a view like that?

Very nice changes. Very clean looking. While I had my client opened I got a quick 69.5 mb downstream. Thanx for the heads up.

This is actually not quite as minor as you may think.

#1. The options menu has the same furled graphics look
#2. The music for the log-in screen has changed. It is now substantially longer and loops better.
#3. 66 builds of GW have been created since last week. The intro screen smells of "finished." I would suspect that much of the game will be the same upon the next BWE.

If they have to have it into sellers hands by the 26th so they can be reasonably expected to get it on the shelves by the 28th, how soon before they have to start pressing CDs?

Not that that really matters. With their streaming technology, they could press CD's with last October's client for release. It'll just get updated as needed. So they don't really need the "release version" ready before actual release day. Scary...

Usually it's about a two-week process to replicate, package, and distribute.

Anyone want to post some screenshots? I can't run the client until I get home.

If that's about right, that would imply the game has to "go gold" (where they produce the "gold CD" from which all the copies are made) by the BWE...

Okay, so the login box is better, but the options one still has horns.
The MOTD box is gone?

Nice... I like to see them pay attention to the details... and so far I have liked all the tweeks... I only wish you could change the base color for the UI... If I could make it black or red that would be sick!
